“Haas Food Equipment GmbH engaged Mr Grabner for its first foreign direct investment in Asia from 2005. Mr Grabner was leading the strategy planning and provided key decision-making support to the Management Board. We most appreciated his local insights and investment mechanics in China and South East Asia that resulted in the establishment of Haas Food Machinery (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. by end 2006 which became one of our most successful assembly factories overseas. In his function Mr Grabner led all negotiations with the Chinese authorities and concluded the set up of our Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise in Shanghai, Qingpu Industrial Zone. We thank Mr Grabner very much for his valuable FDI strategy concept and its successful implementation. His outstanding achievements and excellency made our market entry in China a success. Subsequently we engaged Mr Grabner and his enterprise GRA:FIN for evaluating a greenfield investment in India in 2014 which, after accurately weighing the pro’s and con’s, we finally decided not to implement. In 2015/16 we engaged Mr Grabner for a supposed M&A-transaction in Turkey where he assisted us thouroughly in evaluating a target company. Many thanks to Mr Grabner for his commitment and his expertise on Foreign Direct Investments as well as the initiating and preparation of M&A transactions.”
